The public-facing Fringe year begins in January: January 12th, to be precise, when we hold our annual OPEN MEETING.
This year we’re close to home at The Bell Back Bar, right next to our office, and it’s at 6pm.
The meeting is specifically aimed at people who haven’t done our Fringe – or any Fringe – before, but we’d be happy to see you if you’ve been with us already, especially if you’re contemplating something more ambitious, or looking for collaborators, bill-sharers, or any general advice. We’ve been doing this a while and some of what we know is still useful…
There is general advice to be found elsewhere on this website, start with the page Putting a show into Bath Fringe. We will be announcing the 2026 deadlines early next year, but if you were to assume Registration was from early February and copy deadlines in early March, you wouldn’t be far wrong. Anything you need to know right now, EMail us!
What this isn’t is anything to do with Fringe Arts Bath [FaB], tho’ one of the FaB crew generally comes to the meeting anyway: their application and preparation process is completely different, and can be approached by looking at www.fringeartsbath.co.uk.
This website is still transitioning and has not yet emerged in its new year glory, but Bath Fringe 2026 will run on the usual date range May 22 – June 7.
