The Blank Slate Ensemble are a theatre company established by creatives from Bath and Chipping Sodbury. Our collective vision is to make theatre that entertains, allows audiences to escape into it, and share in the joy of the ensemble. We are a company that works with new writing/devised work, so this is a completely original piece of work, drawing inspiration from the Naked Gun series and classic noir-style detective films. Our shows are often leaning into the absurd nature of comedy as we are constantly pushing the limits of sensibility.

Ace Detective Luke Warm and not so ace Officer Gethin Hotter attempt to solve complex crimes across the globe (but mostly in the Greater Swindon Area). As the plots unravel faster than our minds, discover the wicked truth behind these sinister stories, and learn why people are calling this show “really sick” and “actually quite upsetting”.
