Writers Room – Comedy Writing Workshop

Writers Room is a bi-monthly comedy writing workshop at The Jesters Comedy Club in Bath — a relaxed, supportive drop-in space for comedians and comedy writers to work on new ideas, write jokes, and get constructive feedback.

Whether you’re an experienced stand-up, a new comic, or someone who just enjoys writing funny things, Writers Room is a place to develop material alongside like-minded creatives. Each session is informal and collaborative, with Jesters regulars and experienced performers dropping in to offer advice, feedback, and guidance.

The workshop takes place before our weekly Open Mic, giving you the perfect opportunity to test out what you’ve just written on stage the very same night — or simply sit back, observe, and refine your ideas.
