  • Bedlam Fair presents:

    The Bedlam BusQ

We’re taking our beloved Bedlam back to its roots in the company of some of Britain’s finest Buskers. We’re creating 2 new pitches just for this afternoon, in our old footprint between SawClose and Kingsmead Square; but please remember that some of the finest Buskers in the region will also be working up and down the central spine of the city from Southgate to Milsom Street via The Abbey, Pump Rooms & Kingston Parade. The traditional way of appreciating a Busker’s talent is wild applause and a note or coin in their hat, though nowadays there are also digital, computerised and mobile ways of doing this.

ABLE MABLE - watch her as she attempts to escape from handcuffs, wields a whip wildly as she tries to pop a balloon and accidentally magic’s things away. A joyful, magical and charming show. Sawclose 13.00; Kingsmead Square 16.20

ANGIE MACK - this highly skilled and captivating hula hooper’s interactive comedy show is jam packed with highly skilled hoop tricks, iconic music and a whole lot of heart. Kingsmead Square 11.00; Sawclose 15.40

CIARAN INNES - This Circomedia graduate, AKA Rolabolaboy, has busked all over Europe as well as performing with Britain’s oldest travelling circus. Kingsmead Square 13.40

GEORGE ORANGE – this eccentric clown and has performed internationally; a fantastic entertainer and circus performer who juggles and performs slack rope dancing. Kingsmead Square 12.20

KWABANA LINDSAY - master rope-walking violinist who has performed all over the world with his incredible talents using slack-rope, fire, stilts, acrobatics, juggling, mime, music and comedy. Sawclose 14.20; 17.20

TRUAN MATHIAS - a tense and hilarious show featuring a bonkers finale which fully engages the audience. Using crystal contact juggling, dance, comedy and audience participation, Truan’s comedic style is guaranteed to leave audiences entertained astounded entertained. Sawclose 11.40; Kingsmead Square 15.00

    Plus walkabout and interventions from:

THE 2 MEN - Look out for The Wardens – walkabout comedy from The 2 Men – a collaboration of the minds of 2 very silly men who really ought to know better! ‘Completely mad! Completely brilliant!!’ - Brighton Festival
