  • ARCC present Metamorphosis

Support from Pasha Finn and the Ellipsis

Metamorphosis, transformation, what does it mean? A mixture of film, short film, extracts, trailers, poetry with live soundtrack.

The main feature is Tetsuo: The Iron Man, a 1989 Japanese cyber-punk film directed by Shinya Tsukamoto, "67 of the most relentlessly intense minutes in recent film history" according to Richard Harrington of The Washington Post.

To lighten the mood we also play Virgil Widrich's Copyshop, one of our personal favourites and a few extracts from Microcosmos, exploring change in the world of the small.

ARCC are a group of musicians who come together to compose and perform live soundtrack to film, enhanced by the poetry of Tim Burroughs.

Support from Pasha Finn and the Ellipsis.
