Booking Information

We have indicated how to buy tickets after each entry. Many events are free or pay on the door; some of the others are for sale through physical Box Offices (eg. Bath Box Office or Komedia) as well as online; some venues & Promoters (Rondo, Bath Comedy Festival) have their own online presence, others use one of the many online ticket agents.

Online booking

is linked from the event entries on this site, or can also when appropriate be accessed through dedicated pages on individual venue/promoters’ sites.

Most online booking adds a booking fee. To be fair, most physical booking offices do that too nowadays. Note also, for example, that The Rondo charges a Theatre Restoration Levy of £1.50 per ticket and an additional fee for telephone bookings (and we love The Rondo so we’d also love to see it further restored).

If we know events have sold out we will indicate on event entries on this site, on Facebook and via Twitter, and on the Latest News alert on the landing page of ths site; otherwise events are almost always also for sale on the door, and if we’d known it was advance only we would have indicated as much, but it may be worth checking with the venue, especially if travelling a way to get there.
